Peptide storage time

17 Aug 2017

Peptide drugs that make it possible to make strength training more effective, as well as any other pharmacological agents, have their expiration date set by the manufacturer. At the end of this period, sports products are considered unsuitable for use and unsafe for human health. Equally important are the relevant conditions ensuring the preservation of quality and efficiency, and the shelf life of the peptides is directly dependent on the purity and correctness of the breeding.

Shelf-life of Peptides

The peptide period, calculated from the date of manufacture, is an indicator of the guaranteed saving of the pharmacological properties of amino acid preparations. The start and end dates of use are applied to the consumer packaging together with instructions for recommended storage conditions (optimum temperature and humidity). Compliance with all prescribed requirements is a guarantee of obtaining an effective result. Since practically all peptide preparations are made by lyophilization, they have approximately the same terms and conditions of storage.

GHRP 2, GHRP 6. Shelf life in the refrigerator - 2 years, at room temperature - 1 year.

Ipamorelin. It is stored in the refrigerator for 18 months, at room temperature - no more than a year.

CJC-1295, CJC 1295 DAC, TB-500. In the refrigerator for 12 months, at room temperature - 9 months.

Gonadorelin, MGF and Peg MGF, Frag HGH 176-191, Somatomedin C is recommended to store only in the refrigerator for 12 months. When stored at room temperature, the shelf life of products should not exceed 10 days.

Note: shelf life is indicated for peptides stored in a dry, undiluted form.

How to store the peptides correctly?

Storage of peptides in undiluted form is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer. The average shelf-life of amino acid preparations is 1-2 years. Ideally, they should be stored in the refrigerator, at a temperature of 2-8 C. Also, bottles with undiluted powder may be frozen, however, no more than once. With repeated freezing, there is a possibility of damage to the peptide chain.

In order to avoid cross-contamination of microbial contamination, diluted preparations must be stored separately from foodstuffs, in a special container or in a closed plastic bag. The shelf-life of peptides ready for use depends on the temperature. At room temperature, amino acid solutions are stored for no more than 48 hours. In the refrigerator, at 2-8 C - for 60 days. In a freezer, mixed peptides should not be stored.

When using sports products, one should take into account the fact that a ready-to-use preparation that is exposed to long-term storage can not always guarantee 100% efficiency. In order for the product to remain safe in use and not cause harm to health, it is recommended to dilute it with bactericidal water, which significantly prolongs the shelf life, and, each time before use, the lid of the bottle must be wiped with alcohol.

When purchasing peptides from a trusted supplier, there are usually no problems with product quality. If the product does not work, then either it is counterfeit, or during transportation, the conditions of its storage were not observed.
