Izzetin Kanat used Meldonium (Mildronate) Russian drug
International Paralympic Committee disqualified Turkish weightlifter Izzettin Kanat for two years for doping, according to Inside The Games. Thus, the athlete will miss the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, which will be held in September.
Kanat’s Doping test taken on February 17 after the World Cup in Dubai, gave a positive result. In analyzes of weightlifter was found Meldonium (Mildronate). This drug has been included among the prohibited on January 1st. In addition to the disqualification Kanat lose the bronze medal obtained at the World Cup.
