Description of dosage form

Transparent liquid from yellow to reddish-brown color with a greenish tinge with a characteristic smell.

Pharmacological group

Antiseptic agent of plant origin.

pharmachologic effect

Has antiseptic, tanning, astringent and local anti-inflammatory effect. It is active against gram-positive microflora, including antibiotic-resistant.

Indications

Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and periodontium: catarrhal and ulcerative-necrotic gingivitis, acute and chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis; traumatic ulcers (mechanical and thermal), abscesses of the oral cavity (after dissection); parodontosis (inflammatory-dystrophic forms of I, II, III degrees).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Pregnancy, lactation.

Dosing and Administration

Locally (alone or in combination with other drugs) in the form of 0.1-0.25% aqueous-alcoholic solutions. To prepare rolled solutions, 1% alcohol solution of the preparation is diluted ex tempore with distilled water or 0.9% sodium chloride solution in the ratio 1: 3 - 1:10).

Apply in the form of lubrication, irrigation, washing, applications, as well as in the form of turundas, introduced into canals and pathological dentogingival pockets (for 10 minutes).

The course of treatment from 2 to 10 sessions at intervals of 1-2 days.

Side effects

Allergic reactions. Feeling bitterness, dryness, burning, and also the phenomena of irritation, expressed in the form of easy and quickly passing hyperemia.

Overdose

Overdose may increase the side effects.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Form of issue

Solution for topical application of alcohol 1%. By 10, 25 or 50 ml into the bottles of orange glass. Each bottle, together with the instructions for use, is placed in a pack of cardboard.
