Structure and Composition

Indications for Naphthyzin solution
Acute rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal bleeding, allergic conjunctivitis; in combination with local anesthetics; rhinoscopy.

Contraindications for Naphthyzin solution

hypertension, tachycardia, expressed atherosclerosis.

Side effects

Irritation, headache, nausea, reactive hyperemia, intense swelling of the mucous membrane (when using more than 1 week).

Interaction

Do not combine with MAO inhibitors (monoamine oxidase) (after the end of their application prescribed the drug no earlier than 14 days).

It extends the action of local anesthetics used for surface anesthesia.

Dosage and Administration

Locally. In rhinitis - nasal, adults - 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day. For elongation of local anesthetics during surface anesthesia in 1 mL of anesthetic solution add 2-4 drops naftizin solution.

Precautionary measures

Apply the medication should be short - no more than 1 week, then we recommend a break for a few days. Can not be combined with MAO inhibitors.
