Okomistin (Ocomistin) eye drops - antiseptic drug for local use in ophthalmology.
Has a pronounced antimicrobial action against gram-positive and gram-negative, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria in the form of monocultures and microbial associations, including hospital strains with polyresistance to antibiotics.
Active against chlamydia, pathogenic fungi and also against the herpes viruses, adenoviruses.
The drug is more effective against gram-positive bacteria, including staphylococci, streptococci.
Under the action of the drug reduces the resistance of bacteria and fungi to antibiotics.

Contact lenses should be removed immediately before instillation of the drug Okomistin, eye drops and wear no earlier than 15 minutes after backfilling.
Effects on ability to drive or to perform work requiring high speed physical and mental reactions.
During treatment should refrain from driving vehicles and occupation of other potentially hazardous activities, require high concentration, psychomotor speed reactions and eyesight for 30 min after instillation in the eye.
Suggested Use:
Okomistin applied locally (in conjunctival SAC).
With therapeutic purpose the Okomistin (eye drops) is instilled 1-2 drops 4-6 times per day until clinical recovery.
With preventive purpose the drug is instilled 1-2 drops 3 times a day for 2-3 days before surgery and also for 10-15 days after surgery.
