Hylo-Comod (Hilo-Comod) eye drops - moisturizing ophthalmic preparation, which includes hyaluronic acid. It is indicated for the elimination of eye discomfort in people using contact lenses, with irritation and dryness of the cornea of the eyes, as well as with injuries or damage to the cornea. The solution is produced in original plastic containers, does not contain colorants and preservatives.
Medical product Ophthalmic moisturizing solution Hilo-Komod is a sterile isotonic 0.2% aqueous sodium hyaluronate solution, which does not contain any preservatives, in the original container ("Hylo-Comod " system).
The hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium salt), which is part of the Hylo-Comod, is a natural substance. Sodium hyaluronate is a physiological polysaccharide compound contained both in the tissues of the eye and other tissues and fluids of the human body.
A special physicochemical property of sodium hyaluronate molecules is their pronounced ability to bind water molecules. The aqueous solution of sodium hyaluronate possesses the necessary viscosity and high adhesive properties with respect to the anterior surface of the eye, whereby the Hilo-Comod forms on the surface of the cornea a uniform, long-lasting pre-stop lacrimal film that is not washed off by blinking and does not cause a decrease in visual acuity . Thus, the eye is permanently protected from the sensation of dryness and irritation, which often occur when contact with the environment, as well as when wearing contact lenses.
The solution of Hylo-Comod contains a significant concentration of sodium hyaluronate and, therefore, provides a high viscosity. Prolonged and intense discomfort disappears, which results in permanent eye protection from irritation.
Simultaneously, constant and sufficient moisturizing of the eye surface promotes normal physiological flow and accelerates the healing of injuries and wounds of the eye after injuries and surgical interventions.
The Hylo-Comod solution makes wearing any hard or soft contact lenses more comfortable, and not laid on the surface of the lens.
The Hylo-Comod solution is placed in the original container "KOMOD", which is a complex system of tanks and valves, ensuring the absence of air penetration from the outside and ensuring the extraction of the same size drops, regardless of the degree of application.
The metal parts and valves of the container in contact with the Hylo-Comod solution are partially covered with a thin layer of silver, which together with the absolute hermeticity of the system ensures the sterility of the Hilo-Komod solution in the absence of preservatives.
Thus, the possible undesirable effect of preservatives on the eye tissue is eliminated and good tolerability of the Hylo-Comod is ensured even with prolonged use.
Indications:
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the components that make up the Hilo-Komod solution
Suggested Use:
In the conjunctival sac.
It is recommended to dig in the Hilomaks-chest of drawers in a drop of 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times / day, you can dig in more often if necessary.
The frequency of application of the solution is determined individually, as necessary and according to the recommendations of an ophthalmologist or specialist in contact lenses. There are no restrictions on the duration of application of the Hilomax-Comod solution.
When wearing hard and soft contact lenses, it is possible to instill the drug into the conjunctival sac without removing the lenses.
Application rules
1. Before each instillation it is necessary to remove the cap.
2. Before using HYLO-COMOD for the first time, turn the container downside down and press it down several times until the first drop appears on the tip of the dropper. After that, the system is ready for use.
When instilling the Hilomaks-Comod, hold the container with a dropper downward, quickly and vigorously pressing on its base. Thus, the dropper mechanism is activated and only one drop of solution is withdrawn. Due to the special design of the valves in the "KOMOD" system, the same size of the extracted drop and the speed of its removal are ensured even at very strong pressure on the container base.
3. Fold your head back slightly, slightly lift your lower eyelid and drip one drop into the conjunctival sac, as described above. Slowly close your eyes, allowing the liquid to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.
4. After the procedure is finished, tighten the cap on the dropper.
5. When instilling, avoid contacting the tip of the dropper with the surface of the eye and skin.
