Colbiocin eye ointment - is a combined antibacterial drug used in ophthalmology. The drug has a pronounced antimicrobial and antiparasitic action, especially important for fighting chlamydial infections of the eyes.

Chloramphenicol - a broad-spectrum antibiotic, inhibits the synthesis of proteins of sensitive microorganisms; is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma spp., Ricketsia spp., Chlamydia spp .; is not active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, fungi.

Tetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis at the pH level, and has a bacteriostatic effect. It is active against gram-negative bacteria, Chlamydia spp., Mycoplasma spp., Ricketsia spp., Entamoeba histolytica. Stability of microorganisms develops slowly.

Colistin is an antibiotic that is isolated from Bacillus polymyxa (var. Colistinus). Indications:

Contraindications:

• individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
• impaired liver function, kidney function;

Suggested Use:

They are placed in the lower conjunctival arch 3-4 times a day. When combined with the use of eye drops, the use of eye ointment is sufficient once a night.
