Artelac Balance is a sterile solution designed to moisturize and lubricate the surface of the eye, designed for instillation into the eye. Artelac Balance contains 0.15% sodium hyaluronate, the effectiveness of which is optimized by the presence of the substance polyethylene glycol, a film-forming polymer. Sodium hyaluronate is a substance that is present in the eye in the norm, and forms a stable and long-lasting film on the surface of the eye. The composition of the solution includes vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 protects the cells of the eye surface from damage caused by free radicals. The pink shade of the solution in the vial is associated with the presence of vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin). The composition of the solution includes electrolytes (chlorides, sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium), which play an important role for the biochemical processes in the cell. Artelak Balance is a solution that does not change the physiological state of the eye surface. The composition of the solution also includes Oxide, a new system of preservatives, thanks to which the sterility of the solution is maintained for 2 months from the time the vial is opened. Oxide on contact with the eye surface is converted to oxygen, water and sodium chloride. These substances are present in the tear in vivo and do not irritate the mucous membrane of the eye.

Contraindications:
