Composition and release form

Immunologically active protein fraction isolated from human donor plasma or serum containing specific antibodies to tick-borne encephalitis virus. The protein concentration is 100 mg / ml; Stabilizer-glycine (22.5 ± 7.5 mg / ml). Liquid in ampoules of 1 ml, in a package of 10 pcs.

Characteristic

Transparent or slightly opalescent liquid, colorless or with a weak yellow color. Does not contain preservative and antibiotics, virologically safe.

Hypersensitivity.

Side effects

Rarely: hyperemia, fever, allergic reactions.

Dosing and Administration

IM, for prevention (once): at the age of 12 years - 1 ml, from 12 to 16 years - 2 ml, from 16 years and older - 3 ml. For treatment - in the first days of 3 ml with an interval of 10-12 hours (before the temperature drops).

Precautionary measures

After the introduction, patients should be monitored for 30 minutes (the possibility of developing allergic reactions). Preparations should be made for anti-shock therapy. The preparation is not suitable for use in ampoules with broken integrity and marking, with changing physical properties (turbidity, intense staining, presence of non-breakable flakes), expired shelf life, improper storage.
