Structure and Composition

1 controlled release tablet containing salbutamol sulphate 4 mg or 8; in blister 14 pcs., in multiples of 4 blisters.

Clinical pharmacology

At therapeutic doses, did not affect the cardiac beta1 receptor without stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors (does not cause difficulty of urination).

Indications Volmaks® drug

Diseases accompanied by reversible obstruction of the airways (bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Contraindicated.

Side effects

Light tremor (more pronounced on the hands), feeling of tension of the skeletal muscles, the expansion of peripheral blood vessels, headache, tachycardia (in case of hypersensitivity to beta-agonists); rarely - transient muscle cramps, allergic reactions (angioedema, urticaria, bronchospasm, hypotension, collapse).

Interaction

Not compatible with non-selective beta-blockers (propranolol). Compatible with MAO inhibitors.

Dosing and Administration

The inside is not liquid, squeezed water. Adults - 1 tablet. (8 mg), 2 times a day.

Children 3-12 years - 1 tablet. (4 mg), 2 times a day.

Overdose

Treating - cardioselective beta-blockers (with caution - in patients with broncho-obstructive syndrome patients).
