Composition and form of release

1 tablet contains ketorolac tromethamine 10 mg, in a package of 100 pcs .; 1 ampoule with 1 ml of solution for injection - 30 mg, pack of 10 pcs.

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic.

Pharmacokinetics

Completely absorbed with the / m (intramuscular) administration and oral intake; bioavailability of 80-100%; plasma concentration 50 min after IV IM 30 mg - 2.2 μg / ml; more than 99% of the plasma binds to proteins; the half-elution period is 5.3 hours.

Indications

Pains of various etiology and genesis (postoperative, with colic and trauma, toothache, etc.).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, kidney disease, peptic ulcer, age (under 18 years).

Side effects

Gastric ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, dyspeptic disorders, increased sweating, headache.

Interaction

Incompatible with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; is compatible with narcotic analgesics (morphine).

Dosing and Administration

Inside and / m; inside 10-20 mg 3-4 times a day; in / m 30-60 mg, then 15-30 mg every 6 hours; the maximum dose on the first day is 150 mg, then 120 mg per day.
