Composition and release form
1 tablet of prolonged action contains theophylline anhydrous 200 or 300 mg; In bottles of 30, 100 (200 mg) or 100 (300 mg) pcs., In the box 1 bottle.
Pharmacology
Mode of action - vasodilator, bronchodilator.
Indications of Retafyl
Bronchial asthma, obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension, nocturnal apnea, migraine, cerebrovascular accident.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.
Side effects
Dyspeptic disorders, arrhythmia, CNS excitation.
Interaction
Reduces the absorption of phenytoin; Erythromycin and cytomethidine may enhance the effect.
Dosage and Administration
Inside, once, during dinner (optimally - at 20 h). Adults: 1st week - 300 mg per day, then - 450 mg per day (with body weight less than 70 kg) or 600 mg per day (with a body weight of more than 70 kg). Children: 100 mg each (weight up to 20 kg), 150 mg (weight up to 30 kg) and 200 mg (weight up to 40 kg) 2 times a day.
