Instruction for use: Proxodololum

Trade name of the drug – Proxodololum

Dosage Form: eyedrops

Composition (per tablet): Nonselective alpha- and beta-blocker. 1 ml of eyedrops contains 10 mg proksodolola and auxiliaries (benzethonium chloride, sodium chloride, citric acid, sodium citrate for injection, water for injection); in tubes looks to 1.3 ml, in a cardboard bundle 5 tubes or vials of 5 ml with a plastic cover-dropper in a carton box 5 vials.

Pharmacological Properties of Proxodololum

Pharmachologic effect - Mode of action - antiglaucoma.

It lowers intraocular pressure, which is caused by a decrease in the production of aqueous humor.

Pharmacodynamics

The antihypertensive effect for intraocular pressure occurs within 15-30 minutes after instillation, and reaches a maximum after 4-6 hours. The product does not alter the pupil diameter and accommodation, has no local irritating action.

Contraindications for Proxodololum

Hypersensitivity to the drug, asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease, severe heart failure, sinus bradycardia, AV block II-III degree, type 1 diabetes.

Proxodololum Dosage and Administration

1 drop into the conjunctival sac of 2-3 times a day.

Side effect of Proxodololum

Slowing down the heart rate, the development of AV block, decrease blood pressure, bronchospasm, allergic reaction, transient burning sensation after instillation.

Storage conditions of Proxodololum

In the dark place.

2 years.
