Composition and release form

1 retard coated tablet contains pentoxifylline 400 or 600 mg; In a blister pack of 10 pcs., In a box of 2 or 5 blisters.

1 ml of solution for injection - 20 mg; In ampoules of 5 ml, in a box of 5 ampoules.

Dosage and Administration

Inside, immediately after eating, not chewing, drinking of water. Adults and adolescents weighing more than 50 kg - 1200 mg / day, divided into 2-3 admission.

I.V., usually in a supine position, slowly (not less than for 5 minutes), at an initial dose of 100 mg / day, with good tolerability dose can be increased to 200-300 mg / day, divided into 2-3 injections. With dropwise intravenous administration, the drug is diluted in 200-250 ml of physiological solution, glucose solution, etc., the infusion duration is 120-180 min. The initial dose is 100 mg / day, if necessary, the dose can be increased to the maximum - 400 mg / day, which is divided into two infusions - in the morning and evening hours.
