Composition (per tablet): 1 ml of eyedrops contains pilocarpine hydrochloride 20 mg, metipranolol hydrochloride 1.118 mg (equivalent to 1 mg metipranolol); in vials-droppers of 10 ml in box of 1 vial.

Pharmacological Properties of Normoglaucon

Indications for Normoglaucon

Glaucoma, including the ineffectiveness of the isolated use of pilocarpine or beta-adrenergic blockers (narrow- and wide-angle glaucoma).

Contraindications for Normoglaucon

Hypersensitivity; disease when undesirable contraction of the pupil (eg, acute iritis), obstructive pulmonary diseases, decompensated heart failure, AV block II and III degree; degenerative processes in the cornea, pregnancy, breast-feeding (for the period of treatment).

Side effect of Normoglaucon

Burning in the eyes, headache, ciliary spasm, allergic reactions.

Dosage and Administration

Intrakonyunktivalno, 1-2 drops 2-3 times daily.

Precautions

Patients with reduced tearing, and bradycardia should be under medical supervision. Recommended regular measurement of intraocular pressure and corneal examination after 4-6 weeks.
