Composition and form of release

100 g of the gel contain nilumic acid 2.5 g; in tubes of 60 g.

pharmachologic effect

It inhibits cyclooxygenase and inhibits the synthesis of PG.

Indications

Articular syndrome: rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout; extraarticular processes: bursitis, tendonitis, tendovaginitis, epicondylitis; injuries: fractures, dislocations, bruises, soft tissue injuries; joint pain, periostitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, damage to mucous membranes, skin.

Side effects

Rarely, hyperemia, itching, rash, burning.

Dosing and Administration

5-10 cm of gel are applied to the affected area and, easily massaging, rubbed.
