Pharmachologic effect
Mode action - improving microcirculation, histamine-like.
It restores blood flow in the microcirculatory bed, inhibits diamino oxidase, blocks the disintegration of endogenous histamine and neuronal transmission in the polysynaptic neurons of the lateral nuclei of the vestibular nerve at the level of the stem of the brain, affects precapillary sphincters, increases precapillary blood flow.
Pharmacokinetics
Quickly and fully absorbed. Achieves peak concentration in the blood by the third hour. Passes histohematological barriers and penetrates into tissues. It is exposed to biotransformation within a day, most of it is converted to 2-pyridylacetic acid. Virtually completely excreted in the urine.
