Composition and release form

1 tablet contains lorazepam 1 or 2.5 mg; in a blister of 15 and 10 pcs. respectively, in the package 2 blisters.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - anxiolytic, sedative.

Excites benzodiazepine receptors of the central nervous system and increases the effectiveness of GABAergic transmission, reduces mental stress, stabilizes the autonomic nervous system.

Indication of the drug Loram

Psychoneurosis (anxiety neurosis, coercive neurosis, phobia), mental stress with a sense of fear, anxiety, danger and insolvency; Behavioral disorders, anxiety in depression and schizophrenia; fear and psychosomatic disorders in cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and other organic diseases, insomnia.

Contraindications

Myasthenia gravis.

Application in pregnancy and breastfeeding

Allowed under strict medical supervision.

Side effects

Drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, dry mouth, muscle weakness, ataxia, visual disorders.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, for outpatients - 1-3 mg per day, for psychiatric patients - 3-7.5 mg per day. When insomnia - 1 mg at night.

Precautionary measures

It requires special attention and careful dose selection for older patients, with reduced body weight, cerebral sclerosis, heart failure, hypotension. During treatment, you should not drink alcohol within 4 hours after taking, it is not recommended to drive or use equipment that requires intense attention. Avoid sudden discontinuation of treatment (a gradual dose reduction according to the scheme is required).
