Composition and release form

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - antiviral, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulating.

It induces the production of alpha and beta interferon, the formation of antibodies. Stabilizes biological membranes and delays the penetration of the virus into the cell. Mobilizes the body's defenses, stimulates immunity.

Indication of the Iodantipyrin tablets 0,1 g

Tick-borne encephalitis (treatment and prophylaxis), influenza, parainfluenza, infections caused by non-poliomyelitis enteroviruses Coxsackie and ECHO, vesicular stomatitis virus.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to iodine-containing drugs), hyperthyroidism.

Side effects

Skin rash, itching, angioedema and other allergic reactions.

Dosing and Administration

Inside, after a meal. For the prevention of influenza: Scheme 1 - 0.3 g once a day for 2 days 3-7 days before the onset of the epidemic and then repeatedly at an interval of 3 weeks during the entire epidural period. Scheme 2 - 0.2 g once a day for 3 days, then break for 1 week, then - 0.2 g once a day with an interval of 1 week for the entire epidemic season. Scheme 3: 0.1 g once a day for 1 week, then break for 3 days and further with such periodicity during the epidemic season. Treatment of influenza - 0.3 g 3 times a day for the first two days, then 0.2 g 3 times a day (3-4 days) and 0.1 g 3 times a day (5-9 day) . After sucking the tick - 0.3 g 3 times a day for the first two days, 0.2 g 3 times a day for the next two days and 0.1 g 3 times a day for the next 5 days. During stay in the endemic focus of tick-borne encephalitis - 0.2 g once a day.

Precautionary measures

It is not recommended simultaneous use of anti-malignant immunoglobulin. However, with focal forms of tick-borne encephalitis, it should be prescribed (according to the usual scheme) 2-3 days before iodantiptine.
