Composition (per tablet):

One capsule contains controlled release 160 mg propranolol hydrochloride.

Pharmacological Properties of Inderal LA

Pharmachologic effect - antianginal, hypotensive.

Beta-adrenoceptor blocking.

Indications of Inderal LA

Hypertension, angina pectoris.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, bradycardia, cardiogenic shock, hypotension, metabolic acidosis, peripheral circulatory arterial disorders, atrioventricular block degree II-III, sick sinus syndrome, untreated phaeochromocytoma, decompensated heart failure, Prinzmetal angina, asthma and bronchospasm in history, pregnancy, lactation, childhood.

Side effect

Bradycardia, psychosis, hallucinations, thrombocytopenia, visual disturbances, withdrawal syndrome, heart failure, conduction impairment, postural hypotension, cold extremities, intermittent claudication, Raynaud's syndrome, dizziness, insomnia, hypoglycemia, diarrhea disorders, psoriasis, paresthesia, bronchoconstriction, alopecia.

Interaction

Incompatible with means for anesthesia and monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

Dosage and Administration

Inward on 1 capsule. 1-2 times per day.
