Composition and form of release
1 g of cream contains hydrocortisone 10 mg, in tubes of 10 ml.
pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, glucocorticoid.
Indications
Dermatitis (especially allergic), eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, photodermatitis, diaper rash in children.
Side effects
Local, after long-term treatment: skin atrophy, formation of crimson bands, acne, hirsutism, purpura, ecchymosis, papular dermatitis.
Dosing and Administration
Locally, the cream is applied to the skin with a thin layer 1-2 times a day. Can be used on the face and in the area of intertrigo.
Precautionary measures
Treatment should not be continued for longer than necessary. To cancel the drug should be gradual, otherwise it leads to the phenomenon of "cancellation", which is manifested by redness, pain and burning sensation. The greatest danger of side effects occurs when the drug is applied under the hermetic coating.
