Description of dosage form

Tablets of 1.5 mg: tablets white or almost white, almost odorless, the shape of a flat disc, on one side with the sign I | I.

Solution for injection: colorless or slightly greenish solution, without mechanical inclusions.

Pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - antipsychotic, neuroleptic, antiemetic.

It blocks central alpha-adrenergic and dopamine receptors.

Pharmacodynamics

Has anticonvulsant, antipyretic and analgesic effects.

Indications of the drug Haloperidol-Richter

Psychomotor agitation (manic state, dementia, oligophrenia, psychopathy, schizophrenia, alcoholism); delirium and hallucinations (with schizophrenia, paranoid states, acute psychoses); Huntington's chorea, agitation, aggressiveness; behavioral disorders in the elderly and childhood; syndrome Gilles de la Tourett, stammering, persistent vomiting, hiccough.

Contraindications

Pyramidal and extrapyramidal disorders, depressive conditions.

Side effects

Drowsiness, akinesia, symptoms of parkinsonism, tardive dyskinesia.

Interaction

Strengthens the effect of antihypertensive drugs, barbiturates, narcotic analgesics, antidepressants, alcohol; weakens - indirect anticoagulants.

Dosing and Administration

Tablets: Inside, half an hour before meals.

Shelf life of the drug Haloperidol-Richter

5 years.

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
