Description of dosage form

Biconvex tablets, coated with a coat from white to light beige. On a cross-section - brown color with a white edging.

Pharmachologic effect

Mode of action - Replenishing deficiency of iron and folic acid.

Stimulates hemopoiesis.

Indications for the drug Gyno-Tardyferon

Prevention and treatment of iron / folic deficiency anemia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hemolytic, aplastic, megaloblastic, B12-deficient anemia, hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis.

Side effects

Dyspeptic phenomena (rarely), darkening of feces.

Interaction

Incompatible with tetracyclines and antacids (inhibit absorption), iron preparations for parenteral administration.

Dosing and Administration

Inside. With a mild anemia, the drug is prescribed for 1 table. Daily before breakfast; With a moderate anemia - 1 tab. 2 times a day; With severe anemia - 1 tab. 3 times a day for several weeks (on average - 4-5 weeks) - until the normal level of hemoglobin is restored. Then another 2-3 months to replenish the iron reserves.

For the prevention of iron deficiency and folic acid during pregnancy and lactation - 1 tab. Daily in the second and third trimesters and in the postpartum period during lactation.
