Description of dosage form

Suppositories white with a slightly yellowish tint of color, odorless, hygroscopic, torpedo-shaped. Allowed a slight softening of the surface layer and fogging the surface of the suppository.

Pharmacodynamics

Pharmacokinetics

Glycerin is quickly and almost completely absorbed from the mucous membrane of the rectum. It is actively metabolized in the liver. It is one of the substrates for gluconeogenesis and increases the level of glucose in the blood plasma.
