pyrithione zinc (suspension) 20 mg

auxiliary substances: triethanolamine lauryl sulfate; polyethylene glycol-8-distearate; monoethanolamide cocamide; diethanolamide cocamide; sodium chloride; gum; hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; distilled water

Description of dosage form

The liquid is pale cream color.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-seborrheic, antimicrobial, antifungal, local.

Pharmacodynamics

Effective against streptococci, staphylococcus, fungi (including Pityrosporum orbiculare) and a number of other pathogenic microorganisms. Eliminates seborrhea and dandruff.

Indications

seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, accompanied by dandruff and itching;

multicolored (lichen);

atopic dermatitis;

diffuse hair thinning (as part of combination therapy).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components that make up the drug.

Dosing and Administration

Locally. Shake before use. Apply the necessary amount of shampoo to the moistened hair and rub into the skin until the foam forms, then wash the hair and apply again, the foam on the head is left for about 5 minutes and then thoroughly washed off.

The drug is recommended to apply 2 times a week for the first 2 weeks, then 1-2 times a week for 1.5-2 months. If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated.

After achieving the desired effect, it is recommended to use Friederm® pH shampoo pH balance to prevent skin diseases of the scalp.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse with clean water.
