Composition and release form
1 ml eye drops contains 5 mg etaden, as well as auxiliary substances (polyglucin, sodium chloride, nipagin, nipase, purified water); In bottles of 5 ml with a lid-dropper, in a cardboard bundle 1 bottle or in tubes-droppers for 1.3 ml, in a cardboard bundle 2 tubes.
Characteristic
Stimulator of reparative cell regeneration.
Transparent or slightly opalescent, colorless or slightly colored liquid.
Pharmachologic effect
Mode of action - Regenerating.
Activates the biosynthesis and exchange of nucleic acids, has a pronounced regenerating effect on the corneal tissue. Polyglucinum provides prolongation of action.
Pharmacokinetics
With topical application, systemic absorption is low.
Indication of the drug Etadex-MEZ
Complex treatment of cornea diseases with violation of the integrity of the epithelium, ulceration and dystrophic changes (including thermal and chemical burns of the cornea, mechanical injuries of the cornea, including traumatic erosion, keratitis, dry keratoconjunctivitis, corneal dystrophy).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Application of pregnancy and breastfeeding
Perhaps, if the expected effect of therapy exceeds the potential risk for the fetus and infant (sufficient experience in the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is not).
Side effects
Sensation of "foreign body" and short-term burning after instillation of the drug.
Interaction
With simultaneous administration of eye drops of the Etadex-MEZ and solutions of sodium salts of sulfonamides (sulfacil sodium), the recommended interval between instillations is at least 30 minutes.
