Composition and release form

Pharmachologic effect
Mode of action - anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, myorelaxing, sleeping pills.
It binds to benzodiazepine receptors of the central nervous system (cerebral cortex, cerebellum, spinal cord) associated with GABA receptors; blocks polysynaptic reflexes.
Indications for the Elenium
Anxiety, restlessness, sleep disturbances, emotional arousal, excitement symptoms in chronic alcoholism and withdrawal syndrome, neurasthenic disorders (including on the background of peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, arterial hypertension, cancer), hypertonus of skeletal muscles, premedication.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, breathing disorders of central origin, dizziness, balance disorders, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, pregnancy (I trimester).
Application in pregnancy and breastfeeding
Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy; in the following months - strictly according to the indications. For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be stopped.

Dosing and Administration

Precautionary measures
