Composition and form of release

100 g of cream contain diclofenac sodium 1 g, menthol 2 g; in tubes of 20 grams, in a cardboard bundle 1 tube.

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, analgesic.

Inhibits the synthesis of PG (prostaglandins), reduces pain, swelling and flushing in the place of application.

Pharmacodynamics

Relieves or eliminates pain in the application site, incl. in joints at rest and during movement; reduces the morning stiffness and swelling of the joints. Promotes an increase in the volume of movements.

Inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases; rheumatism of soft tissues; injuries of the musculoskeletal system (bruise, sprain, muscles and tendons), inflammatory soft tissue edema, tenderness of muscles and joints in severe physical exertion.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, incl. to the components of the drug; A bronchial asthma, a rhinitis, a urticaria; peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the phase of exacerbation; pregnancy, breast-feeding, children under 1 year.

pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated. For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

Side effects

From the nervous system and sensory organs: rarely (with prolonged use and / or use of large amounts) - headache, dizziness, drowsiness.

On the part of the digestive tract: rarely - nausea, loss of appetite, pain in the epigastric region, flatulence.

From the skin: rarely - rash, burning, redness.

On the part of the respiratory system: rarely - bronchospasm; systemic anaphylactic reactions, including shock.

Dosing and Administration

Outwardly. A small amount of cream (2-4 g) is applied a thin layer on the skin above the focus of inflammation and lightly rubs to full absorption 2-3 times a day. Course - 14 days (no more).

Precautionary measures

Avoid getting the drug on the damaged surface of the skin, open wounds, mucous membranes and in the eyes.
