pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antipruritic.

Has glucocorticoid activity.

Indications

Eczema (atopic, discoid, in children); Knotty pruritis; Psoriasis (excluding common plaque); Neurodermatosis (including simple lichen, red lichen, seborrheic dermatitis); Discoid lupus erythematosus; Red sweats; Generalized erythroderma (as an additional tool for systemic therapy); Insect bites, allergic contact reactions, itching.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, acne pink and ordinary, perioral dermatitis, primary viral, fungal and bacterial skin infections, itching of the anogenital area.

Application in pregnancy and lactation

Perhaps, if the expected effect of therapy exceeds the potential risk to the fetus.

Side effects

Allergic contact dermatitis, local allergic reactions: burning and itching (require drug discontinuation), secondary infections. With prolonged use in high doses - local atrophic changes in the skin (thinning, striae, widening of the surface vessels, hypertrichosis, hypopigmentation), systemic absorption with signs of hypercorticism, oppression of adrenal cortex function, relapse, tolerance.

Dosing and Administration

Locally.

Treatment of acute and chronic dermatoses. Ointment or cream is applied a thin layer on the affected skin 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment - 2 weeks.

Reducing the risk of recurrence of the disease. After achieving a therapeutic effect in the acute phase of the disease, the frequency of ointment or cream is reduced: it is recommended to apply the drug once or twice a week without applying an occlusive dressing. Kutiveyt is applied to all previously affected areas of the skin or to areas where a relapse of the disease can be expected.

Precautionary measures

Avoid contact with eyes (local irritation, increased intraocular pressure). Therapy of secondarily infected lesions requires the use of appropriate antibacterial agents, and the appearance of signs of the spread of infection - the cancellation of Kutiveyt. Before applying a new dressing, the skin should be thoroughly processed.

Storage conditions

At a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life

2 years.

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
