Pharmacotherapy

Combined drug. Betamethasone - GCS, has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-edematous and antiproliferative effect. When exposed to the skin, the edge accumulation of neutrophils is prevented, which leads to a decrease in inflammatory exudate and production of cytokines; Inhibition of migration of macrophages, leading to a decrease in the processes of infiltration and granulation. Fusidic acid is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that suppresses protein synthesis in a microbial cell. Highly active against Staphylococcus spp., Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, less active against Streptococcus spp., Incl. Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus spp. (Resistant to penicillins), streptomycin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin); Neisseria spp., Haemophilus spp., Moraxella spp. And Corynebacterium spp. Inactive with Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Proteus spp. And other gram-negative bacteria, as well as protozoa and fungi.

Indications

Eczema, dermatitis (simple and allergic); Simple chronic lichen (limited neurodermatitis), atopic dermatitis, diffuse neurodermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis; Discoid lupus erythematosus.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, primary bacterial, viral and fungal skin diseases; Perioral dermatitis; Pink acne, skin tuberculosis, syphilis (skin manifestations).

Carefully

Pregnancy, lactation (when applied to large surfaces).

Dosing

Externally, the affected area of the skin is applied a thin layer 2 times a day for 2 weeks.

Side effect

Allergic reactions. With prolonged use on extensive surfaces - striae, skin atrophy, local hirsutism, hypopigmentation, systemic manifestations.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
