Pharmacology
Pharmacological action - Anti-edematous, anti-allergic, antihistamine, antipruritic.
It blocks histamine H1 receptors. When applied to the skin reduces the severity of local manifestations of an allergic reaction, incl. Itching, swelling, has a cooling and relaxing effect on the skin. The effect occurs after 5-20 minutes after application to the skin and lasts 2-8 hours.
Application of Bamipine
Insect bites, burns (sunny, light thermal, jellyfish burns), frostbite, itchy dermatoses, contact allergic reactions.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, incl. To propylene glycol (for gel), pregnancy (I trimester).
Restrictions
Pregnancy (II and III trimester), younger children's age.
Application in pregnancy and breastfeeding
Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy, in the II and III trimesters - with caution on the advice of a doctor. For the duration of treatment, breastfeeding should be stopped.
Side effects of the substance Bamipine
Burning sensation (especially when getting on mucous membranes), very rarely - skin allergic reactions, systemic effects (with prolonged use or applying to large areas): pupil dilated, fatigue (in adults), anxiety and confusion (in children).

Precautions for the substance Bamipine
It is not recommended to prescribe for acute allergic eczema (possibly worsening of the course of the disease), apply on large surfaces (the probability of development of systemic effects increases).
