Pharmacotherapy. Causes a specific lysis of pathogens of bacterial dysentery.

Indication. Bacterial dysentery caused by S.flexneri I, II, III, IV and VI types (treatment and prevention).

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity.

Dosing. Inside 3 times a day for 1 hour before meals from the first day of the disease for 7-10 days. For 1 dose up to 6 months - 5 ml, from 6 months to 1 year - 10-15 ml, from 1 to 3 years - 15-20 ml or 1 tablet, from 3 to 8 years - 20-30 ml or 1- 2 tablets, from 8 years and older - 30-40 ml or 2-3 tablets. Rectal, with dysentery characterized by a mildly expressed colitis syndrome, and during convalescence concomitantly with oral administration, in the form of an enema after bowel movement instead of 1 oral intake. For 1 dose up to 6 months - 10 ml, from 6 months to 1 year - 20 ml, from 1 to 3 years - 20-30 ml, from 3 to 8 years - 30-40 ml, from 8 years and older - 50 -60 ml.

For prophylaxis - 10-40 ml or 1-2 tablets daily depending on the age. The duration of taking the drug is determined by the conditions of the epidemiological situation.

Side effect. Not described.

Special instructions. The use of a bacteriophage does not exclude the use of other drugs, including. And antibiotics.
