Composition and release form
1 capsule contains trazodone hydrochloride 25, 50 or 100 mg; in a package of 30 or 100 pcs.
Pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - antidepressant.
Selectively inhibits the absorption of serotonin and increases its content in serotonergic synapses, enhances the effects of the precursor - 5-hydroxytryptophan, blocks alpha-adrenergic receptors.
Indications for the preparation of Azona
Depression (endogenous, reactive, etc.).
Contraindications
Pregnancy.
Side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, hypotension, epigastric pain.
Interaction
Incompatible with MAO inhibitors; enhances the effect of alcohol.
Dosing and Administration
Inside, for 150-200 mg (not more than 600 mg) per day.
Precautionary measures
Nursing women for the period of treatment should stop breastfeeding.
