Composition1 ml of solution for injection or for topical administration contains 1 mg of epinephrine hydrochloride; in multiples of 5 vials of 1 ml or 1 vial of 30 ml, respectively.

Pharmachologic effect
vasoconstrictor, anti-hypertensive, a bronchodilator, hyperglycemic.

It stimulates alpha and beta-adrenergic receptors.

Indications for Adrenaline
Anaphylactic shock, allergic swelling of the larynx and other immediate type allergic reactions, asthma (mild asthma), an overdose of insulin.; locally: in combination with local anesthetics, stop bleeding.

Contraindications for Adrenaline

Hypertension, expressed atherosclerosis, aneurysm, thyrotoxicosis, diabetes mellitus, angle-closure glaucoma, pregnancy.

Side effect of Adrenaline

Increased blood pressure, tachycardia, arrhythmias, pain in the heart.

Adrenaline Dosage and Administration
Parenteral: in anaphylactic shock and other allergic reactions, hypoglycemia - n / a, at least - in / m or / in slowly; adults - 0,2-0,75 ml, children - 0.1-0.5 ml; Higher doses for adults at n / to the introduction: single - 1 ml daily - 5 ml.

Precautionary measures

Do not use on a background anesthetic halothane, cyclopropane, chloroform (to avoid arrhythmias).
