How to dilute Peg MGF solution for injection

12 Nov 2017

Peg MGF, or pegylated mechanical growth factor, is a synthetic polypeptide compound that facilitates the acceleration of recovery processes and the stimulation of the division of "sleeping" myoblasts. This drug, which provides a set of dry muscle mass, is quite actively used in the bodybuilding industry.

Features of diluting Peg MGF Solution for injection

The standard question that arises when buying a peptide: how to dilute Peg MGF and what to use as a solvent? Pegylated mechanical growth factor, intended for subcutaneous administration (internal reception of the polypeptide does not have the desired effect) is released in the form of a freeze-dried powder, packaged in vials of 2 mg. The substance is diluted with sterile water for injection, or a special bactericidal water containing sodium chloride and benzene alcohol in a concentration of 0.9%.

The optimum amount of solvent for diluting Peg MGF is 2 ml. 2mg = 2000 mcg. A single dose for injection is 200 μg = 0.2 ml = 10 divisions (20 units) of an insulin syringe V 100. At this dosage, one bottle should be enough for 10 injections of the drug.

The solvent is introduced very carefully, without touching the needle with the contents of the vial. The solution is strictly not recommended to be shaken, since such actions significantly reduce its pharmacological effectiveness.

The diluted product is stored in the refrigerator, at a temperature of 2-6 C for not more than 30 days.
