Composition and release form

Pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-allergic, antihistamine.

It blocks peripheral histamine H1 receptors, eliminates spasm caused by histamine smooth muscle, reduces the permeability of capillaries.

Indications Astemizole-ICN

Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and prolonged), allergic conjunctivitis, urticaria, Quincke's edema and other allergic diseases.

Contraindications

Pregnancy, children's age (up to 2 years).

Dosing and Administration

Inside. Adults and children over 12 years of age - 10 mg, 1 time per day.

Children aged 6 to 12 years - 5 mg per day, up to 6 years - 0.2 mg / kg body weight, once a day.

Precautionary measures

With extreme caution should be used in children younger than 6 years. Lactating women for the period of treatment should refuse breastfeeding.
