Thealoz (Thealose) is a sterile, isotonic solution with no added preservatives, having a neutral pH value. The main component of the drug is trehalose, a substance of natural origin that is present in the organisms of many animals and plants that can survive in extremely dry environments.

Thealoz has physical and chemical characteristics that provide protective, antioxidant, and moisturizing properties. This makes it an important link in the anhydrobiotic mechanism observed in certain microorganisms (slowing metabolism, allowing them to survive in extreme conditions of dehydration).

Also, Trehalose has properties that protect and stabilize the cell membrane, by preventing the modification of proteins, as well as damage to lipids. At the same time, it shows antioxidant functions.

The Thealoz is produced without preservatives and can be used when wearing contact lenses.

Indications:

Tealosis is recommended for use in cases of discomfort in the body of vision associated with dry eyes (burning, irritation) and fatigue due to environmental factors such as wind, dust, smoke, air pollution, over-dried air from heaters and air conditioners, air travel , continued work at the computer, wearing contact lenses.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Suggested Use:

The drug is supplied in a plastic multi-dose vial of the ABAC system. This patented system is characterized by the introduction of eye drops, previously passed through a special membrane filter, which prevents any bacterial contamination of the solution.

The bottle contains 300 drops of a solution that has a neutral pH, without the addition of preservatives, so it is generally easy to tolerate when used.

Contraindications Thealosis brings one drop in one drop to each eye, the procedure can be repeated throughout the day, if necessary. The solution is safe for use with inserted contact lenses.

Instructions for use:

• Wash hands thoroughly before use.
• Do not touch the tip of the bottle with the lens surface, especially if there is a suspicion of eye infection.
• Apply 1 drop of solution to the conjunctival cavity, slightly pulling the lower eyelid of the knee, while lifting your eyes up. After the procedure, tightly close the bottle.
• Do not use for injection or ingestion.
• Do not apply if the protective ring is damaged.
