Taufone eye drops - used for dystrophic eye diseases (cataracts, corneal dystrophies). It stimulates metabolic and energy processes in the tissues of the eye, improves healing processes in case of trauma to the cornea.
Eye drops Taufone is an anti-carcass agent, it has retinoprotective (with subconjunctival injection) and metabolic action.
Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that forms in the body during the conversion of cysteine. Stimulates the processes of repair and regeneration in diseases of a dystrophic nature and diseases accompanied by a sharp disruption of the metabolism of the eye tissues.
It promotes the normalization of the functions of cell membranes, the activation of energy and metabolic processes, the preservation of the electrolyte composition of the cytoplasm due to accumulation of K + and Ca2 +, and improvement of the conditions for conduction of a nerve impulse.

Individual hypersensitivity to taurine, children under 18 years of age.
Suggested Use:
When cataracts are prescribed in the form of instillations 1-2 drops 2-4 times a day for 3 months. The course is repeated at a monthly interval.
In injuries and dystrophic diseases, corneas are used in the same doses for 1 month.
For treatment of taperotorinal abiotrophies and other dystrophic diseases of the retina, with penetrating wounds of the cornea, 0.3 ml of a 4% solution is administered once a day for 10 days under the conjunctiva. The course of treatment is repeated after 6-8 months.
