Polinadym eye drops - with dimedrol and naphthyzine, which have anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory effect. The drug quickly and permanently narrows the vessels and reduces edema in acute allergic inflammation of the conjunctiva and infectious diseases of the eyes with an allergic component.
Polynadym eye drops is a combined preparation for topical application in ophthalmology.
Diphenhydramine - a blocker of histamine H 1 -receptors, has an anti-allergic effect. Reduces swelling, itching, lacrimation.
Nafazoline - alpha-adrenomimetic, causes a prolonged narrowing of the peripheral vessels. Due to vasoconstrictive action with topical application has anti-edematous effect.

Contraindications:
With caution should be used in thyrotoxicosis, arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis, arrhythmia, chronic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, adrenal adenoma, in elderly patients, with benign prostatic hyperplasia with residual urine.
Special instructions:
Do not use the drug more often than every 3 hours (for 5 days).
The drug is not intended for oral administration or injection.
In case of symptoms that indicate systemic absorption, it is necessary to stop using the drug.
With allergy symptoms and during treatment with the drug, soft contact lenses are not recommended. If their use is necessary, the lenses should be removed before instillation and installed back, not earlier than 15 minutes.
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms
Since instillation temporarily breaks the clearness of vision, immediately after using the drug patients should refrain from driving vehicles and activities that require clarity of vision.
Suggested Use:
For adults with acute symptoms, the drug is prescribed 1 drop in the conjunctival sac every 3 hours until the edema and eye irritation decrease, then 1 drop 2-3 times a day until the clinical symptoms disappear.
Children over 2 years are prescribed 1-2 drops per day.
Duration of treatment - no more than 5 days. The doctor decides the need for a longer application of the drug individually.
If the symptoms of irritation of the conjunctiva persist for more than 72 hours, the drug should be discontinued.
