Indocollyre eye drops - based on indomethacin, which have an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. It is used for the treatment and prevention of ocular inflammatory processes of various origin, in operations for cataracts, as well as for the prevention of postoperative complications.

Pharmacokinetics

Before instillation of the drug, contact lenses must be removed; they can be installed 15 minutes after instillation.
The bottle must be closed after each use. Do not touch the tip of the pipette to the eye.
Application for violations of liver function
With caution apply the drug for severe violations of liver function.
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms
Patients who temporarily lose visual clarity after application of the drug are advised not to drive a car or work with complicated equipment, machines or any other complex equipment requiring clear vision immediately after instillation of the drug.
Suggested Use:
Inhibition of intraoperative miosis
To inhibit intraoperative miosis, the drug is instilled in 1 drop into the conjunctival sac for 2 hours at intervals of 30 minutes (4 times) before the operation.
Prevention of cystic edema
To prevent cystic edema of the macula, the drug is instilled 1 drop 3-4 times / day for 1 month after the operation.
At other indications appoint 1 drop 3-4 times / day depending on the severity of the condition. The course of treatment can last from 1 to 4 weeks.
