Catalin eye drops 15ml

Catalin (Katalin) eye drops - a drug for the prevention and treatment of diabetic and senile (senile) cataracts. It improves nutrition and normalizes metabolic processes in the lens, preventing the processes of protein coagulation and the deposition of insoluble compounds, thereby preventing the development and progression of cataract symptoms.

Sodium pyrene oxide improves metabolic processes occurring in the lens, has anti-cataract action. Normalizes the metabolism of glucose, blocks the enzyme aldose reductase, which is responsible for the conversion of glucose into sorbitol, which breaks the transparency of the lens. Catalin prevents the processes of denaturation of proteins, thereby preventing the appearance and progression of the areas of turbidity in the lens.

Indications:

An old and diabetic cataract.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to pirenoxin.

Suggested Use:

To prepare an ophthalmic solution, the tablet is removed from the blister and placed in a dropper bottle with a solvent (previously unscrewing the cap). After the tablet is completely dissolved, the resulting solution is instilled into the affected eye, 1-2 drops, up to five times a day. The course of treatment with catalan is prolonged, it can be continuous.
