The drug is used in asthenic conditions, has positive influence on the performance of physical and mental performance. Is a derivative of adamantane. Ladasten has combined stimulating, anxiolytic, immune actions and elements of actoprotective activity. Ladasten does not have myorelaxation properties or addictive potential.

When using Ladasten, unlike the typical action of psychostimulants there is practically no development of hyperstimulation or, as an after-effect the functional exhaustion of the body.

Ladasten’s therapeutic effect in patients with asthenic and anxious-asthenic disorders has been seen since the early days of its use as a distinct reduction of asthenic symptoms, indicators of emotional stress and somato-vegetative manifestations. The medication helps to restore activity and increase endurance.

Ladasten’s mechanism of action is associated with increased release of dopamine from presynaptic terminals reuptake blockade and its gain biosynthesis caused by expression of tyrosine-hydroxylase gene as well as its modulatory effect on the GABA-benzodiazepine receptor complex-hlorionoformny eliminating reduction benzodiazepine reception, when developing stress . Dosage

Ladasten is taken orally with or without food.

Single dose - 50-100 mg / daily dose is 100-200 mg in 2 divided doses.

The drug should not be used within 8 hours of planned bedtime. Duration of a course of the drug is 2-4 weeks.

Overdose

A large overdose may develop sedation.

Treatment: non-specific detoxification therapy.

Drug Interactions

Ladasten may reduce the hypnotic effect of thiopental sodium.

Ladasten will not weaken the anxiolytic effect of benzodiazepines.

Pregnancy and lactation

Ladasten should not be used during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).

CNS: excessive stimulation and sleep disorders may occur.
