Composition and form of release

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antiaggregational, analgesic, replenishing vitamin C deficiency.
Inhibits the biosynthesis of PG (prostaglandins). In the focus of inflammation reduces the permeability of capillaries, reduces the activity of hyaluronidase, inhibits the formation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Reduces the excitability of the centers of thermoregulation and pain sensitivity, reduces the algogenic effect of bradykinin.
Pharmacokinetics
Quickly absorbed, undergoing hydrolysis with the formation of pharmacologically active metabolite - salicylic acid. Cmax in the blood is reached after 2-4 hours. It is excreted as metabolites mainly with urine. T1 / 2 - from 3 to 9 hours.
Indications
Increase in temperature with influenza, catarrhal and other infectious and inflammatory diseases, weak and moderate pains of different origin.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (including to other NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)), gastric ulcer and / or duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, gout, bronchial asthma, urolithiasis (if the dose of vitamin C exceeds 1 g / day), increased tendency to bleeding, children's age (up to 15 years).

Side effects

Dosing and Administration

Precautionary measures
It is not recommended to combine with other NSAIDs, with anticoagulants, uricosuric agents, hypoglycemizing drugs, glucocorticoids, ticlopidine, diuretics, antihypertensive agents, nonabsorbable antacids, antibiotics (possibly mutual weakening of effects), with interferon-alpha. It is not recommended to be used in combination with methotrexate. The drug should be administered with caution in case of a history of peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum.
