Composition and form of release
1 tablet, coated, contains tenoxicam 20 mg; in the package of 100 pcs.
pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antiaggregational, analgesic.
Inhibits the synthesis of PG (prostaglandins).
Indications
Pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout and non-pediatric rheumatic conditions (tendinitis, bursitis, sciatica, back pain).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcers in the phase of exacerbation and in the anamnesis, gastrointestinal bleeding, acute gastritis, pregnancy, lactation.
Side effects
Dyspeptic disorders, the formation of peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, interstitial nephritis, glomerulonephritis, papillary necrosis, nephritic syndrome, edema, headaches, dizziness, drowsiness or insomnia, depression, nervousness, liver function abnormalities, increased serum transaminases, impaired vision, hypocoagulation, allergic reactions.
Dosing and Administration
Inside, 1 tab. per day (with water) at the same time. In acute gouty arthritis - 2 tablets once a day for 2 days, then 1 table. a day for another 5 days.
