Composition and form of release
1 ampoule with 1 ml solution for injection contains neostigmine methyl sulfate 0.5 mg; In a cardboard box 10 pcs.
1 tablet contains neostigmine bromide - 15 mg; In a contour acheikova packing 10 pcs., In a cardboard box 2 packs.
pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - anticholinesterase, uterotonizing, increasing contractility of smooth muscles.
It blocks cholinesterase, which results in the accumulation of acetylcholine, which excites m- and n-cholinergic receptors.
Indications
Myasthenia gravis, paralysis, poliomyelitis, encephalitis, weakness of labor, atrophy of the optic nerve, neuritis, glaucoma, atony of the stomach, intestines and bladder.
Contraindications
Epilepsy, hyperkinesia, bronchial asthma, angina pectoris, atherosclerosis.
Side effects
Hypersalivation, nausea, vomiting, bradycardia, hypotension, weakness, twitching of the muscles of the tongue, tremor.
Dosing and Administration
P / c - 0.5 mg (1 ml of 0.05% solution) 1-2 times a day; Children - 0.05 mg per year of life, but not more than 0.75 ml of 0.05% solution.
Inside - to 0.015 g 2-3 times a day. Higher doses: single - 0.015 g, daily - 0.05 g. Course - 25-30 days, the interval between courses - 3-4 weeks.
