Composition and form of release
1 capsule contains ketoprofen 50 mg; 12 pcs. in the blister, 2 blisters in the box.
pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antiaggregational, analgesic.
It blocks cyclooxygenase and inhibits the synthesis of PG.
Pharmacodynamics
It inhibits the exudative and proliferative phase of inflammation, reduces the concentration of PG in the hypothalamic region, increases heat transfer and lowers body temperature, prevents the development of hyperalgesia, suppresses the pain reaction to bradykinin, serotonin, histamine, etc. "mediators" of inflammation. Has antiaggregatory activity (blocks thromboxane synthesis).
Indications
Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative changes in the joints, sciatica, tendon inflammation, periarthritis, bursitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (including to other NSAIDs), peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, severe liver and kidney failure, pregnancy, lactation (it is necessary to refuse breastfeeding).
Side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, less frequent ulceration of the mucous membrane of the digestive tract, bronchospasm; headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, eczema.
Interaction
Enhances the effect of anticoagulants, heparin, ticlopidine, corticosteroid hormones, oral antidiabetic agents, hydantoin derivatives and alcohol. Increases the level of lithium in the blood. Weakens the effect of spironolactone and peripheral vasodilators.
Dosing and Administration
Inside, with food, 100-200 mg (2-4 caps.) Per day, dividing the daily dose by 2-3 doses. Capsules swallow whole.
