Composition and form of release
1 g of ointment contains diclofenac sodium 20 mg; in tubes of 30 grams, in a cardboard bundle 1 tube.

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, analgesic.
Inhibits the synthesis of PG; reduces pain, swelling and flushing of tissues.
Pharmacokinetics
Well absorbed through the skin into the subcutaneous tissue for 5 minutes. Binding to plasma proteins up to 99%. It penetrates into the synovial fluid, where the concentration remains unchanged for 7 hours. Conjugated metabolites are secreted mainly through the kidneys, a smaller part is excreted with feces. The analgesic effect is achieved 30-60 minutes after application of the ointment and remains for 2.5-5 hours, the maximum effect develops after 1-2 hours.
Indications
Inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases; rheumatism of soft tissues; traumatic bruises, sprain of ligaments, muscles and tendons; inflammatory edema of soft tissues, soreness of muscles and joints, caused by heavy physical stress.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, incl. to other NSAIDs; peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the phase of exacerbation; allergic asthma, rhinitis, urticaria, children under 6 years old.
pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated (especially in the III trimester of pregnancy). For the period of treatment, nursing mothers should give up breastfeeding.
Side effects
Allergic skin reactions (burning, redness); with long-term use and / or use in large amounts - systemic side effects, characteristic for NSAIDs.
Dosing and Administration
Externally, 2-4 g of ointment is applied a thin layer on the painful area 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 8 g. The course (individual) is 1-14 days.
Precautionary measures
Do not apply to damaged skin and mucous membranes.
