Pharmacology
Pharmacological effect
tocolytic, bronchodilator, anti-asthmatic, warning bronchospasm.
Interacts (mainly) a beta2-adrenoceptor bronchial smooth muscle, activates adenylate cyclase, increasing the amount of cAMP, which leads to a decrease in the concentration of intracellular calcium and bronchodilation. It inhibits the release of biologically active substances from mast cells, improves mucociliary clearance; causing tachycardia and increases myocardial oxygen demand, improve AV conduction, expands peripheral vessels and lowers blood pressure. It has tocolytic properties (activates the beta2-adrenergic receptors in uterine smooth muscle). Depending on the route of administration of 3% is sucked (inhaled) to 10% (enteral). It is metabolized in the liver. Return with faeces.
Indication
Bronchial asthma, obstructive bronchitis, emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis, bradyarrhythmias, AV block, the threat of premature birth.

Interaction
It enhances the effect of antidepressants; when used in conjunction with beta-blockers may phenomenon idiosyncrasy.
Routes of administration
In / in, inside, inhalation. 0.5-1 mg (1.2 ml of 0.05% solution) slowly for 3 minutes, or within 10-20 mg 3-4 times a day (effect after 1 hour and lasts 4-6 hours), or 0.75-1.5 mg inhalations (1-2 puffs) 3-4 times a day (the effect occurs within 15 minutes, reaching a maximum after 1 hour and lasts for 4-5 hours)
