Structure and Composition
1 ml of eyedrops contains timolol maleate 2.5 or 5 mg; in bottles of 5 ml, in the box one bottle.

Clinical pharmacology
The onset of action after 20 minutes, the maximal effect after 1-2 hours, the duration of action of 24 hours.
Indications
Chronic open-angle glaucoma, secondary glaucoma (uveal, afakicheskaya, posttraumatic), a sharp rise in IOP.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, corneal dystrophy, rhinitis, bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, sinus bradycardia, AV block, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, diabetes, pregnancy, lactation; not use in premature and newborn babies.
Side effects
Irritation and redness of the conjunctiva, lacrimation, photophobia, corneal epithelium edema, burning and itching in the eyes, redness of the eyelid skin, diplopia; bradycardia, bradyarrhythmia, AV block, hypotension, collapse, nausea, dizziness, headache, muscle weakness, insomnia, depression, bronchospasm.
Dosing and Administration
Conjunctival 1 drop 0.25-0.5% solution 1-2 times a day.
