Composition and form of release

pharmachologic effect

Pharmacological action - anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic.

Selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2, suppresses synthesis of PG and metalloproteases (prevents damage to cartilaginous tissue), formation of free radicals; oppresses the liberalization of histamine, bradykinin, etc., inhibits FAT.

Pharmacokinetics

Completely absorbed after ingestion, Cmax is achieved after 1.5-3 hours and gradually decreases within 12 hours. Binding to plasma proteins is about 95%. Metabolized to 4-hydroxynimidesulide, T1 / 2 3-4.5 hours. It is excreted in the urine (70%) and with faeces (30%).

Indications

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the stage of exacerbation, poor liver function of moderate and severe degree, pronounced renal dysfunction (Cl creatinine less than 30 ml / min), pregnancy (especially I and III trimesters), breast-feeding.
